About the Event

So many businesses have tag words hanging on their walls, but do employees and managers really believe in those words?  Do they use them on a daily basis to make their business or organization great to work with?

Creating alignment around a shared set of values at an organizational level requires so much more than just adopting a “set of words on a wall”. This leadership session will examine the business case for investing in a “values” based organizational culture. The Tahoe City PUD’s General Manager and North Lake Tahoe-Truckee Leadership Program graduate, Sean Barclay will share the Tahoe City PUD’s experiences with implementing a set of shared values and behaviors that guide decision-making from strategic planning to everyday customer interactions. Take-home practical tips to help you understand how to implement a values-based organizational culture and the real benefits it could have for your organization.

This workshop/lecture/discussion is meant for middle managers, board members, managers, and those who are interested in retaining their employees.

Sean and his colleagues developed their program as supervisors (not top managers).  So this is the right time for you!

RSVP today.  4:45PM-5:15PM networking with fellow alumni and our community members.  5:15PM-7:30PM lecture and discussion.
